Watermill Brembos

Ronse used to have numerous watermills but this is the only mill left and it's protected. The mill dates from the 16th century and it also served as a bark mill for grinding oak bark into a fine powder for tanners. It's located on the Molenbeek near the Muziekbos. It stopped operating in 1962. The owners open the mill to the public on Open Monuments Day, East Flanders Mill Day and Flemish Mill Day.
