Muziekbos - Beech forest

Muziekbos

The Muziekbos is located on a hill in the rolling landscape of the Flemish Ardennes.

The Geuzentoren, a round tower built with ironstone, is located in the forest. Omer Wattez and his literary friend Pol de Mont of Antwerp came up with the name 'Flemish Ardennes' on this spot in the spring of 1888. The Muziekbos is at its best in April and May when bluebells cover the ground.
